Description

Camera trap data package from the Wildlife Observatory of Australia's Wildlife Camera Database. Dataset ID: WA_UpperWarren_predator_monitoring_Harrison_2022_WildObsID_0024. As part of a larger project investigating how woylie anti-predator responses vary under different predator conditions, levels of predator activity were monitored at a number of sites. This data set contains detections of feral cats, red foxes, and chuditch (Western quoll; Dasyurus geoffroii) at two sites in the Upper Warren, Western Australia. The sites are predominantly Jarrah/Marri forest, and are spatially separated by approximately 15km. Twenty unlured cameras were deployed per site, approximately 20cm off the ground, on tracks, facing 45 degrees to the road, deployed for 2 months. The raw data contains numerous native mammals, but detections of these have not yet been scored, and are not provided here. Data accessed via WildObs (https://wildobs.org.au).
