Description

NESP 2 has introduced the notion of missions to ensure synergies and trade-offs across different environmental domains are recognised and linkages are being made. The mission leader group has been thinking about possible opportunities for a small number of sites that could provide a focus for Cross-Hub activity enable intensive interaction between NESP research topics and research teams. This was discussed with the Hub leadership group and several possible research locations have been suggested among them Kakadu National Park and the Swan Canning catchment and river system. Ideally, over time, we would employ the integrative approach in four areas representing a gradient from urban to remote.
