Description

We have identified that regional and remote local governments could be, and in some cases, are, playing a pivotal role, working closely with state and federal programs and industry from the ‘top down’ while also serving local community and business. This means they can play a role as ‘transition brokers’, working across different levels of government, industry and community. Recognising this, the overarching theory of change for this initiative is that by collaborating with local governments, the Australian Circular Economy Hub (ACE Hub) and relevant state and federal agencies, we can develop a model for networked CE governance best suited to supporting regional CE in Australia
