Description

Improving predictions of droughts and extreme wet years. Predicting the climate drivers behind Australia’s wet and dry periods is becoming increasingly important.

It is essential to increase Australia’s resilience to a variable and changing climate, and for the effective management of our land and water resources. This project is building understanding of our climate drivers, and improving our ability to predict droughts, extreme wet years, and hot-and-dry events.
