Description

##Improving outcomes for threatened species and protected places. The threat that climate change poses to threatened species and protected places is difficult and complex.

Conservation managers face short-term challenges like extreme weather events and seasonal changes, and longer term trends in climate conditions. Through a climate lens, this project will co-develop information for recovery plans and decision-making processes, build a database of adaptation options, and deliver region-specific climate situational reports, to inform effective on-ground interventions and enhance adaptation outcomes.

This project complements other Climate Systems Hub projects, the Climate Adaptation Initiative, and other cross-hub initiatives by providing practical examples demonstrating how to use climate information in conservation management decision-making.
