Description

This research project aims to investigate the responsiveness of various pain measures in chronic low back pain (CLBP) patients, using data from the RESOLVE randomized controlled trial (RCT). Traditionally, pain intensity scores like VAS or VNRS are used to measure CLBP, but other patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) such as global perceived effect (GPE), bothersomeness, and disability scales might offer a more comprehensive view of the patient's experience. The study will retrospectively analyze data from 138 participants who received sensorimotor treatment intervention, assessing the internal responsiveness (IR) and external responsiveness (ER) of different pain measures.
