"text": "This research aims to explore midwives’ experiences of providing water immersion care for women trialing a vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC). This research will follow a qualitative approach guided by phenomenology as the methodology underpinned by a constructivist theoretical framework. Participants will consist of registered midwives in Western Australia who have experienced providing water immersion care for a woman undergoing a VBAC. Data will be collected primary through a qualitative survey, with an optional one-on-one interview online. The data obtained from midwives’ experiences will provide important perspectives of healthcare practitioners experiences, contributing to the growing body of research surrounding water immersion and VBAC, and assist in improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes.",
