      "text": "This project seeks to explore the pedagogical implementation of the Spiritual Capabilities Framework (SCF) as experienced by early years educators. Since 2022, the researchers have worked with MercyCare to provide professional learning to educators on spirituality for young children. A SCF was developed that built on the researchers’ prior work along with the work undertaken with MercyCare. The SCF aims to provide a resource for professionals working with young children seeking to intentionally promote young children’s spirituality as part of their holistic development. This is the first Framework of its kind and as such, understanding the way educators make use of the Framework, and how they come to understand and promote children’s spirituality from its adoption, will be innovative, providing new knowledge in this field. The findings will be impactful for MercyCare specifically, but for the early years sector more broadly as they seek to invest in programs and approaches that assist educators in delivering quality early learning experiences.",
