The PhD by publication will entail a three-phase approach to explore the research question by engaging with the clinical experts in the nursing field, measuring Non-technical skills (NTS) performance and confidence across two different simulation modalities (in situ/face to face and virtual reality) and to provide an intervention to ascertain if virtual reality (VR) specific NTS training can enhance NTS performance and confidence in final-year nursing students.
