The purpose of this research project is to assess the clinical outcomes of patients using intercostal chest drain as a management of malignant pleural effusion within St George Hospital and Sutherland Hospital. It is a retrospective study assessing the clinical outcomes of managing malignant pleural effusion wit intercostal chest drain at St George Hospital and Sutherland Hospital, from 2019 to 2021.
