Description

This study is proposing a method for establishing a common outcome sets (COS) for acupuncture trials for women’s health across the lifespan. Using the methods described by the COMET Initiative (https://www.comet-initiative.org/), where common outcome measures are established in various health conditions, following a set process. This study aims to present a method for establishing common outcome sets (COS) for acupuncture for women’s health across the lifespan. We will describe a method for consultation and consensus using the process described by the COMET Initiative, where researchers, clinicians and consumers contribute to the creation a set of relevant outcome measures, meaningful to researchers, practitioners, and consumers for trials of interventions, which in this case is acupuncture trials in women’s health.
