This is a mixed-method cross-sectional evaluation study of volunteer biography services in two palliative care services, incorporating six stakeholder groups, palliative care patients, their family carers, bereaved carers, referrers, volunteer biographers and volunteer managers, all of whom will be asked to complete a questionnaire and participate in an interview.
